Why would I need a coach?
Do you want to lose weight? Have more energy? Sleep better? Have help managing an illness? Are you confused by all of the conflicting nutrition information out there? Maybe you just need someone to hold you accountable? All of these are great reasons to speak with a Health Coach!
What does a health coach do?
The coach-client relationship is a collaborative process, in which there is an emphasis on implementing tools that will empower you toward self-awareness, self-efficacy, personal success, and optimal wellness. Health coaches provide guidance, plans, structure, and motivation, but they also teach clients about lifestyle, health, wellness, and nutrition. People tend to hire health coaches to help them with a broad variety of health issues, such as weight loss, stress reduction, the management of chronic conditions, improving diet and exercise, tobacco cessation, addiction, and adjusting to a life-altering health event, like a heart attack.
What is it like to be coached?
It is a very empowering experience in that I’ll also help you facilitate healthy, sustainable behavior changes by encouraging you to listen to your inner wisdom, identify your values, and transform your goals into actions.
What are your processes?
Health and wellness coaching takes place through multiple processes, including:

*Agenda and goal setting to support you in moving toward your desires.

*Positive feedback that will help you move through any negative self-talk, ambivalence, resistance or other hurdles.
Is a Health Coach a Nutritionist or Doctor?
A Health Coach is not a Nutritionist or Doctor. Health Coaches do not diagnose. The role of the Health Coach is to make recommendations to improve overall wellness based on the current actions and behaviors of the client. We play a support role in your personal journey to wellness.
